四棵苍松耸立如盖，一方巨石，横卧如台，台面一平如镜，纵横交叉成棋坪。传说，每次西施来探望范蠡，两人总要在此对奕，直至暮色将近。抗日战争时期，陈毅元帅率领新四军转战江南时，也曾在此与人手谈。
