据说范大夫晚年隐居此地后，壮志虽酬，雄心不减，偶尔乘着月光，持剑而舞，曼声高歌，舞到急处，一剑劈入石内，湖石应声而裂，于是就留下了这千年剑痕。
Shijian Stone (a stone for trying the sword):This is a place where Fan Li practiced with his sword after his retirement. Once upon a time, while remembering the battles between Wu and Yue, Fan Li thrust his sword into this Taihu Stone and a mark of sword was left, which might be evidence of his great strength.
試剣石:ここは范蠡が隠居後よく剣を振舞うところです。ある時范蠡が剣を振舞うとき呉越の戦を思い出して、石に斬って、この裂け目を残りました。
